Note from the manufacturer regarding apparent discrepancies in the diameter of the beret:We have measured several styles from stock and most are coming in at 10 ? inches, although a few are measuring 10 or 10 ? inches. All the hats are blocked to 10 ? inches but different dyestuffs may saturate the yarns a bit differently, causing some compacting. If the customer simply stretches the hat by hand, they will have give. If steamed or wet, they will stretch even further.
